Operations already counted. Now Quality Control does too.

Operations has always carried one of the two heaviest shares of the company-wide score, second only to Shipping & Receiving. When CommandCenter corrected a gap that let Quality Control sit outside the assessment entirely, the total number of criteria every client is scored against grew — which is why every department's share moved a little. Operations' own criteria count did not shrink by a single item. The platform just stopped leaving a whole department out of the denominator.

• Executive Approval will not close until every department has answered, Operations included — the same rule it has always lived under.
• Operations was never the department whose absence flattered the score. That correction was about Quality Control catching up to you.
• The score your executive signs reflects what the platform actually measured across every provisioned department, not a rounded-up estimate.

Chemical and controlled-substance handling is a shared duty, and CommandCenter keeps it split the way it actually runs on your floor: Quality Control tests a substance and approves it for use; Operations secures it — in storage, and while it's in use. Neither department quietly inherits the other's half.

On this one control specifically, CommandCenter teaches instead of scoring it — a deliberate choice, not an oversight. Your team learns the real standard for storing and handling controlled substances; the platform does not yet turn that lesson into a pass/fail checkbox for either department.
